Pedestrian dies in La Broquerie crash

A pedestrian died early Sunday morning after he was struck by a vehicle on Highway 52 in the RM of La Broquerie.
Police responded to a report of the incident around 2:20 a.m.
La Broquerie fire chief Alain Nadeau said the accident occurred west of St Denis Road, not far from the La Broquerie fire hall.
The victim was identified by police as a 42-year-old La Broquerie resident.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
In a release, RCMP said it is unclear whether alcohol was involved in the collision, adding that the 60-year-old female driver of the vehicle, from Sandilands, was not injured and not intoxicated.
