Rollover near Kleefeld injures one

Emergency crews were called to a single vehicle rollover southeast of Kleefeld on Saturday afternoon.

St Pierre RCMP Cst. Rheo Gosselin said the crash remains under investigation after an off-road vehicle lost control and rolled, while being driven in a field south of the intersection of Road 33N and Road 27E.

Two adult females were riding in the vehicle. One of the women was injured but police could not comment on the extent of her injuries. STARS air ambulance transported the woman to Health Sciences Centre in Winnipeg.

Alcohol is not believed to be a factor in the crash.

An RCMP traffic analyst was expected on scene to investigate the rollover further.

Update: April 23 at 9 a.m. – Corrects story to confirm transport of one person to hospital by STARS.
