Steinbach RCMP are turning to the public for assistance in solving a pair of thefts that have occurred in recent weeks.

Police reported that on Wednesday, between the hours of 12 a.m. and 6 a.m., tools were stolen from a vehicle on Sunset Lane in Dufresne. Earlier this week, police reported a similar theft of tools on Tuesday in Tache from a shed on a property along Provincial Road 501, between the hours of 12 a.m. and 4 a.m.

Police are also looking for information regarding a break and enter to the Foxy Babes salon on Main Street in Steinbach. Police said in a release that entry was gained to the back door of the salon between 12 a.m. and 9 a.m. on April 30. Salon product and a cash box was stolen from the business.
