The old Safeway parking lot Steinbach was a hub of activity on Monday morning as movie crews worked to transform the store and its former gas station site into a set for the film, How It Ends.

The film, which is being shot in Winnipeg and area, is a Netflix production which includes Academy Award winning actor Forest Whitaker, who was on set in Steinbach on Monday morning.
