Suspect sought in bank card theft

Police are seeking assistance from the public in identifying a male suspect after a debit was stolen in Steinbach.

Between 3 p.m. and 3:40 p.m. on Sept. 15, the card was stolen and used to remove funds from the victim’s bank account.

Police said in a release the suspect made withdrawals from a financial institution in Steinbach, where he appeared on camera.

Police would like to identify the suspect and speak to any witnesses.
