A house trailer fire in Ile des Chenes claimed the life of a 30-year-old woman on Sunday morning.
St Pierre RCMP responded to a report of the fire at a residence on Bonneteau Avenue around 8:10 a.m.
Police said in a release that firefighters were able to carry the woman from the residence but she was later pronounced dead at the scene.
No other injuries were reported.
RCMP and the Office of the Fire Commissioner continue to investigate the blaze.
The incident comes just over a year after another fatal fire on the same street, when a 52-year-old woman died in trailer fire on Dec. 27, 2016.
