An 88 year old woman from the RM of Stuartburn was pronounced dead at the scene of a single-vehicle accident near Vita on Saturday afternoon.
Police were called at 1:50 p.m. to a report of a rollover on Road 38E, west of Vita about three kilometres south of Provincial Road 201.
It is believed the woman was driving Ford pick-up truck south on the gravel road when she lost control of vehicle and it rolled in the ditch.
The woman, who was ejected from the truck, was not wearing a seatbelt. Police said alcohol and speed have been ruled out as factors in the ongoing investigation.
