Dylan Reimer scored two key second goals to propel the Grunthal Red Wings to a 5-4 victory over the Ste. Anne Aces Sunday night at Ste. Anne to narrow the Aces lead to 2-1 in the Carillon Senior Hockey League championship series.

The Aces skated to a 2-0 first period lead and then went up 3-0 early in the second, before Dylan Reimer scored a pair of goals less than three minutes apart to to get the Red Wings back into the game and back into the series for that matter.

But just 18 seconds after Reimer had made it a 3-2 game, Kyle Isenor responded to again give the Aces a two-goal lead.

Grunthal then replied with three straight goals, two of them by Derek Gingera and then the winner from Lee Christenson midway through the third as the Red Wings would go on to the 5-4 victory.

Ste. Anne won the first two games of the series by scores of 7-4 and 6-4.

Game four in the finals will be played Thursday at 8:00 p.m. at Grunthal.
