Bradley Schoonbaert continued his incredible road trip for the Steinbach Pistons at Waywayseecappo Saturday night as he had five points on two goals and three assists to lead the Pistons to an 8-2 victory over the Wolverines.

The previous night in Dauphin, Schoonbaert had three goals and an assist as the Pistons downed the Kings 7-2.

With his nine-point weekend, Schoonbaert now leads the MJHL scoring race with 18 points in seven games, including nine goals. Teammate Braden Purtill, who also has nine goals, is second in the scoring race with 13 points.

With the two wins, the Pistons, now 6-1, have moved into first place into the Manitoba Junior Hockey League standings, tied with the Virden Oil Capitals. Virden stayed pace with the Pistons crushing Portage 8-2 last night at Portage.

After loading up on a little Thanksgiving turkey, the Pistons will return to action Wednesday night at Neepawa as they take on the Natives at 7:30 p.m. at the Yellowhead Centre.
