When were you born?

Between 1981 and 1996 (Millennial)

Tell our readers a bit about your professional life. What do you do for a living? If you're an incumbent candidate, what did you do before you entered politics?

I am a Registered Psychiatric Nurse, addictions specialist and former member of the Canadian National Basketball team. I worked as a psychiatric nurse for over a decade before entering politics and was a community organizer who worked alongside newcomer, 2SLGBTQ+ and equity seeking groups to advance human rights.

What's the highest level of education you've attained?

Bachelor's degree

How long have you lived in the constituency? If you don't currently live there, what led you to run there instead of where you live?

What is the biggest challenge facing your constituency, and how would you address it?

Biggest challenges in Union Station are PCs cuts to healthcare services and cuts to affordable housing. Our NDP team will stop the PC cuts, invest in strengthening healthcare and prioritize affordable and accessible housing by working with community partners and all levels of government to do so.

If elected, what will be your first priority?

If elected, my first priority is fixing the damage PC cuts have done to healthcare. That is the number one issue facing Manitobans, including the constituents of Union Station.
