The 46th annual Pioneer Days Parade will take place on Friday. This year, the route is being shortened just slightly. After its start at the Steinbach fire hall, the parade will conclude at Loewen Blvd., rather than at Stone Bridge Crossing as it has in past years. The route is being shortened to avoid congestion issues in the more residential area.

Southeast Helping Hands will again be collecting non-perishable food donations from spectators. People who would like to donate items are asked to make their way to the barrier tape to make it easier for volunteers to collect, keep parade entries moving and avoid large gaps between floats.

The parade will get underway at 10 a.m., starting at the Steinbach fire hall, traveling west on Main Street before heading north on Highway 12 and finishing at Loewen Blvd.
