Hydro restored to 1,000 in Steinbach

Manitoba Hydro said late Sunday morning they have restored service to 1,000 customers without power in Steinbach. A tree that fell onto a Hydro line is believed to be responsible for the outage. 

The public utility is in for a busy day throughout areas of southeastern Manitoba after a stormy night. Some of the affected areas include the Whiteshell and Falcon Lake.
