Ste Agathe accident injures two

St Pierre RCMP responded to a report of a collision around noon on Monday at the intersection of Highway 75 and Provincial Road 305 in the RM of Ritchot, just west of Ste Agathe.
RCMP said in a release that a pickup truck travelling west on PR 305, entered the intersection and proceeded north on Highway 75. The truck was struck by a small passenger car also travelling north on the highway.
The driver of the truck was not injured. The driver of the car and a passenger were transported to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Alcohol is not a factor in the collision, RCMP said.
Police advised, shortly before 4 p.m., that traffic analysts remain on the scene and ask motorists to slow down when approaching emergency service workers.
