Steinbach head coach Paul Dyck will be coaching one of the 20-year-old teams alongside Barry Wolff (Swan Valley) and Taylor Harnett (Waywayseecappo).

“It’s always a fun event,” Dyck said.

“(you) get a chance to spend some time with the other coaches in our league, and I have some friends in the SJHL as well, so it’s a fun little rivalry.”

Scouts from universities, major junior, and even the professional ranks are expected to be in attendance for the event.

“It’s a showcase, and it’s called that for a reason,” Dyck said.

“There’s an opportunity for guys from both league’s to play well, and showcase themselves as individuals.”

Tickets will be available for purchase on the MJHL’s website beginning January 8, with walk-up tickets sold the days of the event.
