COLUMN: On Parliament Hill – Serving Provencher

Last week, I used this column to express my profound thanks to the people of Provencher for trusting me with their vote. It is not something I take lightly.
It is an honour and a privilege to serve as Member of Parliament for Provencher.
This week, before getting back to the hustle and bustle of Ottawa, I’d like to expand a bit on what my focus for you will be in Ottawa.
I mentioned last week, my Conservative colleagues and I are committed to putting Canadians first—always. We will continue the fight to reduce taxes, so your paycheques go further, and your families can thrive.
I will continue to advocate for families and finances.
Those have been and will remain my priorities.
Supporting families both by trying to make life safer and more affordable but also by advocating for traditional family values, religious freedoms, and your right to raise your children as you see fit.
Strengthening our finances by advocating for sound fiscal policies and common-sense spending rather than serving special interests and deepening deficits.
When I was first elected, my team and I were trying to come up with a tagline; a motto that summed up who we were and what our time in office would be about. “Serving Provencher” came quickly and has been our guiding principle ever since.
As this recycled Liberal government gears up for another four years, I’m here to serve you. That is my commitment to you. To serve.
My office is open to all Provencher constituents who need help navigating the often-complex world and workings of the federal government. We help thousands of people every year with issues related to the Canada Revenue Agency, Employment Insurance, pensions, immigration and others. My staff will provide great customer service and are skilled at helping you get results.
We are here to serve.
