The Southeast Event Centre will be getting a taste of pro hockey, as the Manitoba Moose are set to hold their annual blue and white intrasquad game in the Automobile City.
The game will take place Oct. 5, with tickets priced as low as $6 for adults. Proceeds from sales will go towards Steinbach and Area Animal Rescue.
Tickets are available at the Steinbach Pistons website, tickets.steinbachpistons.ca.

The Manitoba Moose are the American Hockey League Affiliate of the Winnipeg Jets. The team’s training camp schedule and roster, featuring the players who will play in the blue and white game, was released Sept. 24.
The AHL regular season kicks off Oct. 10 for the Moose, which normally play their games at the Canada Life Centre in Winnipeg.
The AHL has moved their broadcasts to Flohockey, the same website the Manitoba Junior Hockey League is on. Flohockey has added major junior this season, with the Ontario Hockey League and Quebec Maritime Junior Hockey League in the lineup.
The SEC has been staying busy this fall, with CBC set to host a morning show live from the building Sept. 25. The building has become a de facto home for the Hanover-Tache Junior Hockey League, with multiple teams from around the league hosting skates in the facility in addition to the hometown Steinbach Huskies.
A full calendar of events is available on the centre’s website.
