Quarry Oaks golf professional Robin Henderson and Steinbach Fly-In pro Larry Robinson each grabbed a handle of the trophy to hoist the Steiner Cup after their respective teams fought to a draw in the inaugural 54-hole event.

The golf event is a Ryder Cup-style match play competition, pitting 16-member teams from Quarry Oaks and Steinbach Fly-In Golf Club. The event uses a Ryder Cup-style format with multiple rounds, including alternate shot, four-ball and singles matches. Fittingly, the two neighboring clubs would have both their names on the Cup after the first year of play after ending in a dead heat following 18 holes of alternate-shot, 18 holes of best-ball and a final round of match play.

Quarry Oaks won the 24th edition of the inter-club competition September 13-14, edging the Steinbach Fly-In team by two points, 17-15. The 2025 win was the third in a row for Quarry Oaks and the 17th overall. Steinbach has won the Cup six times and there was one tie.
