Rhodes served in the navy, air force, and army during his time in the Canadian military. He retired as a warrent officer in the army after serving as a peacekeeper during the Bosnian War in the 1990s.

Stroh served for 17 years in the Canadian Navy. He was depolyed to Afghanistan after 9/11. He spoke about the affects of Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder on his life and how it affects soldiers. He said the affliction shouldn't be called PTSD rather PTSI as it is an operation stress injury.

Canadian veteran Darryell Boudreau served 35 years in the Royal Canadian Air Force, here he pins his poppy to a wreath after the ceremony on Nov. 11, 2025, at the Niverville Community Resource and Recreation Centre. Boudreau has been coming to the Niverville Remembrance Day ceremony for the past 12 years as his daughter lives in town. He said the ceremony hits home and that he feels the support from the community is phenomenal.
