Source for Sports approved for SEC location

Source for Sports will become a permanent tenant at the Southeast Event Centre (SEC), offering skate sharpening and selling apparel and other items.
The contract was approved by Steinbach city council at their Jan. 6 meeting.
According to the terms of the operating agreement between the City of Steinbach and the SEC, the city must approve any proposed user agreement when it involves exclusive occupancy of any portion of the event centre for periods exceeding 14 days.
Source for Sports signed on for a five-year agreement. Because they have start-up costs such as signage and equipment, there is no cost for the tenant for the first year.
After that period, they must offer a sponsorship of $12,500 annually, half of which comes through a cash payment and the other half through trade.
The SEC grants Source for Sports the right to be the exclusive provider of skate sharpening services.
