SAC officially releases season ticket packages for its upcoming 2026-2027 concert season, offering the community great value on live performance packages.

Save money when you purchase a season ticket package for all five concert series performances—bringing world-class entertainment, award-winning artists, and symphonic traditions close to home. With limited seating available for the concert series, SAC encourages audiences to lock in their season packages early before individual tickets sell out.

Summer Arts Day Camps are still in full swing! Spot availability remains for our upcoming creative, themed weeks for children in age groups three to five, five to eight, and nine to 12. These camps are intentionally designed to nurture well-being and personal growth, offering a safe and supportive environment where experienced instructors lead campers through music, dance, theatre, visual arts, and culinary arts. Join our engaging workshops designed for individuals of all skill levels, where participants will explore various artistic techniques and cultural traditions through hands-on activities.

Beginner Stained Glass Workshop (Ages 18+)

Learn the ancient technique of cutting glass to craft two beautiful pieces in a relaxing, hands-on environment.

Whimsical Pottery Teapot Series: Slip Casted Teapots (Ages 18+)

Decorate pre-cast teapots and cups with whimsical elements, carvings, and glazes to create your own unique tea set.

Preservative Canning Workshop (Ages 16+)

Learn how to safely preserve your late-summer harvest by water bath canning tomatoes and crisp pickles.

The People in Your Story: Bringing Characters to Life (Ages 18+)

Explore creative writing techniques through guided exercises to bring real or imagined characters to life on the page.

Beginner Watercolour (Ages 16+)

Master simple yet effective watercolor techniques like washes and layering with step-by-step guidance.

Whimsical Pottery Teapot Series: Hand Built Teapots (Ages 18+)

Use hand-building techniques to sculpt a personalized, story-driven tea set complete with a teapot and matching cups.

Pottery Date Night Workshop (Ages 18+)

Enjoy a creative evening out for couples featuring wheel throwing, hand-building, and a pizza dinner.

Holiday Pottery Ornament Workshop (Ages 18+)

Design up to 12 custom clay Christmas ornaments using slab-building techniques.

FREE Bannock and Jam Workshop (Ages 10+)

Learn to make traditional bannock and fresh fruit jam while exploring the cultural significance behind the dish.

Enrollment open for the 2026-2027 Arts4Tots Preschool Program

Registration for the 2026-2027 Arts4Tots Preschool program is now open. SAC is committed to providing accessible, high-quality early childhood experiences that serve as a foundation for lifelong artistic involvement and community connection.

Arts4Tots offers a unique, community-focused environment where children ages 3 to 5 engage in a Montessori-inspired curriculum. Students have regular access to professional Music, Theatre, Visual Arts, Culinary Arts, and Dance clinicians. Under the guidance of experienced Director Miss Pam and Assistant Director Miss Jamie, children develop essential skills from literacy and math to self-expression and confidence.

Registration & Program Details

• Registration: Open Now

• Program Term: Sept. 14, 2026 to June 3, 2027

• Schedule: Half-day sessions, two days per week (Monday/Wednesday or Tuesday/Thursday options)

• Location: Steinbach Arts Council, 304 Second Street
