Martin announced his commitment to Colorado College earlier this summer, but is set to return to the Spokane Chiefs for another year in the Western Hockey League.

After a slow start to the season, he managed to finish with 56 points in 65 games this season, adding five goals in six playoff games.

Ste Anne’s Zach Lansard will also be playing at a prospects tournament this week with the Carolina Hurricanes. The Hurricanes selected the forward in the third round of this year’s NHL draft.

Carolina will play Nashville Sept. 13 at 1:35 p.m. CDT and Tampa Bay Sept. 15 at 1 p.m. Games will be hosted in Morrisville, North Carolina.
