Who are your role models in politics, and why?
Role Models - Nobody is Perfect. I try to learn from the GOOD Qualities of the MANY.
Tell us something about yourself that voters might find surprising.
I enjoy FIXING any and every thing possible not just helping "fix" people suffering from medical issues regardless of their age.
In my "100 year Club", my oldest patient was born in Oct 1913.
Also, if possible, I like fixing anything electronic, electrical, mechanical. For hobbies, I have a few including stamps, how things evolved and how people used to live and manage. Sports like Tennis, badminton, table tennis, swimming, chess, drafts, hunting partridges, boating, fishing etc., but I do NOT golf, smoke, gamble and once in a while social drinking of one glass of red wine.
I enjoy Music - Pop, Jazz, Classical and Indian/Hindi movie songs
Let me add...
A Manitoba Premier SACKED a THOUSAND NURSES, CUT ENROLEMENT in NURSING and MEDICAL School expecting the Healthcare to IMPROVE .....and DID IT ??? AND Subsequent NDP and PC governments did "NOTHING" about it except "collect paychecks and their subsequent Pensions", AND Paid MILLIONS of Dollars to FOREIGN Consultant and CUTTING ERs to improve healthcare..... and did it work....???
Recruiting Nurses from PHILIPINES (when the WORLD is your OYSTER) will BUY them VOTES from the LARGEST Filipino community of Canada here in Winnipeg, AND OPENING 3 ERs or so in WINNIPEG ....in ??years....will NOT fix Healthcare.....simply because...
I will Donate my MLA's salary EVERY YEAR to Southdale Community Centre, Day Care, Local churches, Programs to keep kids OFF the streets.
