Tell our readers a bit about your professional life. What do you do for a living? If you're an incumbent candidate, what did you do before you entered politics?

I have worked in manufacturing/production for over 20 years with a focus on Continuous Improvement and Root Cause Analysis.

What's the highest level of education you've attained?

Master's degree

How long have you lived in the constituency? If you don't currently live there, what led you to run there instead of where you live?

Over 15 years with my wife Jill and daughter Camryn.

What is the biggest challenge facing your constituency, and how would you address it?

The Climate Emergency and Affordability. By creating good paying unionized jobs in green industries (public transit, solar install, wind generation install, EV chargers, home retrofits, etc.) that also reduce the cost of living while also reducing greenhouse gas emissions.

If elected, what will be your first priority?

Free Public Transit. This will significantly reduce greenhouse gas emissions while reducing the cost of living for a large number of Manitobans.

Who are your role models in politics, and why?

Elizabeth May. She is also from Nova Scotia and was the first politician I remember talking about addressing the root cause of issues and not just treating the symptoms.

Tell us something about yourself that voters might find surprising.

My wife is a gold medal curler.
