Prominent conservative commentator Ezra Levant will be returning to Steinbach in November.
The Sun Media columnist and author will be the guest speaker at Provencher MP Ted Falk’s riding association fundraising dinner.
Levant will be speaking on the Middle East, freedom of speech, religion and political correctness in Canada.

Levant was last at the local riding association’s annual fundraiser in 2010 as part of a book tour where his latest title made the case for why Canada’s oil sands are the most ethical in the world. Since then, Levant’s profile has surged. The next year he was tapped to host a primetime program when the Sun News Network launched. Today, he is the most recognizable face at the network.
This year’s Provencher Conservative fundraising event will be held Thursday, Nov. 13 at the Mennonite Heritage Village. Doors open at 6 p.m., with dinner at 6:30 p.m.
Anybody interested in purchasing tickets to the event can contact riding president Amos Wiebe at 204-392-9299. Tickets are $95 and are tax deductible.
