Residents in Steinbach and surrounding area have a new option for personalized, non-medical home care as Silver Lining Care makes its debut.
Silver Lining Care is an organization that provides private, non-medical, compassionate care to residents of Steinbach and the Southeast. They launched on July 1.
Spokesperson Teena Cole said so far, they’ve been met with extremely positive reviews.

She adds a common response after caregivers visit someone for the first time is, “how can we get more?”
Due to a growing number of seniors in the area, Silver Lining sees a need for more home care, Cole said.
“The aim of Silver Lining Care is to be the premier health care provider for families in our community and a significant part of the solution to ease the burden on the public health care system,” said Carolyn Peters, president and CEO.
The organization offers a wide scope of well-living and companionship care options for residents in need of their services.
Among those options, Cole said they offer a variety of services which include light housekeeping, shopping, cooking, outings, companionship, and other basic home care-type services like bathing assistance and other personal aspects.
