NDP tap St Malo resident for election

The NDP has added another name to its roster of candidates by filling one of several vacant spots still left here in the Southeast.

St Malo’s Alanna Jones will carry the NDP banner in the Emerson constituency.

The party noted Jones abilities as a Franco-Manitoban, her employment with the Pembina Active Living Centre and volunteer work at Ecole Heritage Immersion School. Jones also has a background as a professional dancer and graduated from the University of Calgary with a B.A. in dance.

She and her partner, Chris, live in St Malo with their three children.
