New Bothwell Fair this weekend

Summer fun continues in New Bothwell this weekend with the community’s summer fair on Friday and Saturday.

A car show helps kick off Friday night fun from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Outdoor movies will screen in the park on Friday too with Moana showing at 7 p.m. and Beauty and the Beast at 9 p.m.

On Saturday, stomachs will be filled early as the free pancake breakfast is held from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.

Fun activities will be held throughout the day including bouncers, balloons and facepainting, bubble ball, a jousting bouncer and a watermelon eating contest.

Saturday night will feature a bar-be-que chicken dinner from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. followed by evening entertainment including a concert by Byron Falk and The Half Time Cowboys, the New Bothwell Trivia Game, Mr Richards and Fire Dancers.

Fireworks will help the fair go out with a bang Saturday night at 11 p.m.
