Accessing your local newspaper has never been easier in Southeast Manitoba, and right now it can really pay off.

While many Carillon subscribers love to page through the newspaper on a weekly basis, there’s another option for those on vacation, on the go, or those who just want the convenience of being able to access the newspaper wherever they are.

Subscribers can also access the newspaper as an e-edition, simply by going to www.thecarillon.com.

Publisher Laurie Finley said it’s important to make the newspaper accessible.

“People go on holidays, or their work takes them away from home,” he said. “We understand they have busy lives, and want to give them their reading experience no matter where they are.”

The Carillon is launching a promotion for existing and new print subscription holders. Those who access the e-edition for the first time will be entered into weekly draws for a $75 Sobey’s gift card and a grand prize draw of a $200 Sobey’s gift card.

How to start

On your computer, simply go to www.thecarillon.com, and select All Sections. In the drop down menu select e-edition where you will be prompted to enter your email, select new account and given instructions to activate your account.

On mobile, simply select Menu, followed by e-edition. Choose the html option for first login, to create and activate your account.

After your account is activated, users can also access The Carillon through an app.

New users will be entered in the weekly and grand prize draws.
