Arborgate School welcomed students arriving on a chilly Tuesday morning for their first day of in-class learning in more than five months.

Staff grouped disembarking students into assigned cohorts, each of which entered the school via a different door.

Classroom learning in Manitoba was suspended in March owing to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Students across the Southeast returned to school this week in a staggered, gradual fashion intended to reduce interactions between cohorts.
