A spring snowstorm didn’t dampen the excitement at Savante Insurance Inc., which held its grand opening April 13 at Unit 3 – 2 Highway 12 North in Steinbach. Present to cut the ribbon were Mayor Earl Funk, Celia Zurbyk, vice-president of operations, Danielle Tkachuk, president, Temara Pidsadny, vice-president of personal lines, and Wayne Patram, president of the Steinbach Chamber of Commerce. Headquartered in Winnipeg, Savante leased a small satellite workspace in Steinbach for three years before deciding a walk-up retail location was needed to better serve a growing clientele, Tkachuk said.
