Hello, Steinbach!

Hello Steinbach! I am so happy to be working in your beautiful city. I’m an avid reporter having spent more than seven years in community news and I thoroughly enjoy writing about the events that happen in the city and in the region.
Prior to working in Steinbach I was working in Alberta for a daily newspaper, the Grande Prairie Daily Herald Tribune. It was interesting working for a daily and an experience I will never forget. The rush of having stories ready for print everyday along with photos was a buzz.

Prior to Grande Prairie I worked in Portage la Prairie at the Portage Daily Graphic and the Central Plains Herald Leader. Both publications were great to write for because of the vast area we covered, including four reserves.

I have won awards for my writing from the Manitoba Community Newspaper Association, the Alberta Weekly Newspaper Association, and the Canadian Community Newspaper Association. If you want to check out some of my work please feel free to visit my website at svjetlanamlinarevic.com.

Some odd facts about me: I enjoy collecting pennies and stamps, watching cooking shows, and belting out songs in my car with the radio on.
