The James Barker Band and Titans of Rock will take to the main stage as headliners in this year’s Summer in the City.
Announced on Wednesday, organizers are once again presenting a country themed Friday night and rock themed Saturday.
The James Barker Band boasts the most number one hits for a Canadian country group in recent times. They landed their Gold certified fourth number one in Canada with New Old Trucks, featuring 14 time Grammy nominated artist Dierks Bentley.

They were the winning group of the year and fan choice in the 2023 Canadian Country Music Awards, recently played the Grand Ole Opry and have been nominated for Country Album of the Year for their album Ahead of Our Time.
Rocking the stage
Saturday night’s show will feature the Titans of Rock, a tribute band who will perform Bon Jovi and Journey hits.
“This isn’t just a tribute show, it’s a time machine back to the golden era of rock,” a press release stated. “Imagine the unmistakable voice of Steve Perry and the iconic stage presence of Bon Jovi’s big hair era, complete with fringe jackets and those unforgettable ‘80’s vibes.”
The James Barker Band will perform on Friday, June 14 and the Titans of Rock will hit the stage the following evening. Ticket prices are $55 for Friday night and $45 for Saturday. Until April 20, tickets to both events can be purchased for $90 at www.summerinthecity.ca.
