Multi-vehicle crash shuts down highway

Traffic came to a halt on Highway 59 south of Ile des Chenes at about 4:30 p.m. after a multi-vehicle collision. RCMP and Ritchot Fire Department were on the scene along with paramedics. The highway was closed off near Gauthier Road for at least 30 minutes. RCMP has not released information on the cause of the collision.
