Hanover Soccer Club is heading back under the bright lights of the biggest stadium in Manitoba.
The club’s division four team, the Hanover Strikers, will be facing Landmark FC at Princess Auto Stadium June 9.
The game will take place after the finish of a Canadian Premier League Valour FC game, which kicks off at 12:30 p.m.. The Strikers played the Niverville Force in a game at the stadium two years ago.

The Strikers and Landmark FC play in division four of the Manitoba Major Soccer League, five tiers below the top premier league teams.
“We’re beyond excited,” Iain Hildebrand, who plays for and helps manage the team, said.
“We play more of a rec-style soccer, but the opportunity to play on a big stage like that is going to be pretty special for most of us.”
The game is part of a partnership between the Manitoba Major Soccer League and Valour FC, where teams get to play at the big stadium if they can purchase enough tickets to a Valour game as well.
Freddy Caballero plays with the Strikers. He said the team’s sponsor helped secure the tickets to ensure they could get access to the field.
“We’re pumped,” Caballero said.
“A lot of teams don’t get the opportunity to play in a big stadium like that.”
The Valour FC game against Atletico Ottawa begins at 12:30 p.m., with tickets available on the team’s website and Ticketmaster.
