Motorcyclist masturbator awaits court date

A man accused of masturbating while operating a motorcycle on Highway 52 between La Broquerie and Steinbach is awaiting an Oct. 4 court date.

Witnesses said the man exposed himself and masturbated in front of them as they were in a vehicle on the highway on July 13. They allege he also sped up onto the shoulder and grabbed the passenger door handle.

The incident was reported a short time later and RCMP confirmed they used the provided licence plate number to find the suspect. They travelled to his residence in the RM of La Broquerie where they found him leaving his home.

He was pulled over and arrested.

The 34-year-old male was released with a court appearance scheduled for Oct. 4 in Steinbach where he will face a charge of committing indecent acts.
