Child hurt in crash with impaired driver

A 29-year-old La Broquerie man is facing four charges while a 12-year-old girl is recovering from injuries sustained in an early morning crash on Sunday.
RCMP say at about 1:30 a.m. on Sunday, the driver of a pick-up rear-ended a Toyota Rav on Road 45 East just south of Highway 501.
As a result, a 12-year-old female from the RM of Tache was transported to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The man is facing charges including dangerous driving causing bodily harm, failure to stop after an accident resulting in bodily harm, operation while impaired over .08 of a motor vehicle causing bodily harm, and operation of a motor vehicle over .08.
