HSD appoints new assistant superintendent

Hanover School Division has appointed a new assistant superintendent.

Marlin Adrian has been hired for the position starting Nov. 1. He leaves behind his post as the principal of Landmark Collegiate. Prior to working in Landmark he was vice-principal at Green Valley School and a teacher at Steinbach Regional Secondary School and Steinbach Junior High School. He has 17 years of teaching experience.

He holds a Master of Education in Educational Administration.

“Throughout his career, Marlin has shown a commitment to fostering collaborative relationships with students, parents, staff, and fellow administrators, promoting a positive and cooperative work environment. His diverse background will equip him to contribute meaningfully to the division’s continued success,” read a statement from the HSD board.

Adrian will replace outgoing assistant superintendent Colin Campbell who is leaving for Seine River School Division where he is appointed as the new superintendent.
