Sign up your child for our expanded eight-week Summer Arts Day Camp, running from June 30 to Aug. 22. Enjoy a program filled with art, music, and dance, all led by experienced staff focused on your child’s safety and enjoyment.
This camp is suitable for age groups 3-4, 5-8 and 9- 12. The Steinbach Arts Council also welcome those in need of financial assistance to apply for our camp bursaries.

Steinbach Arts Council to celebrate 45 years
The Steinbach Arts Council proudly announces its fundraising gala on Friday, May 2. This milestone event celebrates decades of community impact and supports free youth programming, bursaries for those in need, and subsidized arts and culture recreation for all ages. The evening features local cuisine, fine wines, live entertainment, a curated auction, live art, and an anniversary edition jewelry piece by GNM Fine Jewellers.

MTYP brings family show to SRSS theatre
The Steinbach Arts Council presents a Manitoba Theatre for Young People production Blue Beads and Blueberries. This family show will be held on April 11 at 7 p.m. in the SRSS Theatre. Written by Erin Macklem and directed by Katie German, Blue Beads and Blueberries transforms an ancient fairy tale into a celebration of Métis culture. This show is perfect for children aged 5-12, making it a great family outing!
This event is made possible with support from Steinbach Hatchery & Feeds, Mark & Bonnie Loewen, and the Million Dollar Round Table Foundation.

Enjoy an evening of musical theatre and opera hits with Flipside Opera
The Studio Series welcomes soprano Judith Oatway, pianist Lisa Rumpel, and tenor Aaron Hutton from Flipside Opera for an intimate, captivating performance at the SCU Studio at the Steinbach Arts Council on April 13 at 7 p.m. Audience members will enjoy an up-close experience with a variety of musical theatre hits, soulful ballads, and stunning opera pieces. Coffee and light refreshments will also be served. Tickets are priced at $25 and can be purchased at SteinbachArts.ca or by calling 204-346-1077.
Steinbach Arts Council welcomes artists to exhibit for 2025-2026
The Steinbach Arts Council is opening its doors to Southeast artists, inviting them to exhibit their work in our newly expanded gallery space. We particularly encourage submissions from students and emerging artists. Please submit a portfolio that includes three to five photos of your original artwork along with a brief biography. With space to display 15-30 pieces, we welcome a variety of mediums, especially those designed for wall displays. Glass displays are also provided for three dimensional pieces.
