The Steinbach Arts Council is seeking new and returning artists to perform at the upcoming K.R. Barkman Concerts in the Park on May 20 to June 10. This is a unique opportunity for local musicians, including family groups, youth performers, amateur musicians, soloists, choral groups, ensembles, and cultural groups, to share their music with a supportive audience.

Your 3-4 year-old can attend summer camp
This year, we’re thrilled to have campers ages 3-4 for full days of activities! Pick a themed week of camp, from June 30 to Aug. 22. Allow your little one to engage more deeply in a variety of creative activities in music, art, theatre, dance, culinary, and more for a fun experience alongside their peers. Lunch and quiet time will be incorporated into their daily routine to ensure they approach the day with renewed energy and focus!

Register your child to the Arts4Tots preschool program
Registration for the Arts4Tots program is now open for the 2025-2026 year, offering a unique and engaging educational experience for children ages 3 to 5. This innovative program combines music, theatre, visual arts, and dance to foster creativity, imagination, and cognitive development. Led by experienced clinicians and directors with a Montessori-inspired curriculum, this program emphasizes sensory, cultural, and creative learning. Arts4Tots provides a well-rounded educational experience to introduce your tots to a school setting!
The program runs from Sept. 15, to June 4, with half-day sessions twice a week featuring an option of mornings or afternoons. Registration can be completed over the phone by calling 204-346-1077 or in-person at 304 Second St.

Steinbach Arts Council to celebrate 45 years
The Steinbach Arts Council proudly announces its fundraising gala on May 2. This milestone event celebrates decades of community impact and supports free youth programming, bursaries for those in need, and subsidized arts and culture recreation for all ages. The evening features local cuisine, fine wines, live entertainment, a curated auction, live art, and an anniversary edition jewelry piece by GNM Fine Jewellers.

Steinbach Arts Council is welcoming artists to exhibit for 2025-2026
The Steinbach Arts Council is opening its doors to Southeast artists, inviting them to exhibit their work in our newly expanded gallery space. We particularly encourage submissions from students and emerging artists. Please submit a portfolio that includes three to five photos of your original artwork along with a brief biography. With space to display 15-30 pieces, we welcome a variety of mediums, especially those designed for wall displays. Glass displays are also provided for three dimensional pieces.
