Team Cameron adds Samagalski as coach

In their quest to become Team Canada for the 2026 Italy Olympic Games, St Adolphe’s Team Kate Cameron continues to add to their roster.
Fresh off their acquisition of four-time Scotties champion Briane Harris, the team has added even more experience, announcing Derek Samagalski as their new coach.
Samagalski has represented Manitoba at the Brier nine times, including a streak of seven consecutive years between 2018 and 2024, playing in the front end of teams skipped by Reid Carruthers, Mike McEwen and Brad Jacobs.
Samagalski will be moving from the front end to skipping this year, heading up a team which will compete out of Iqaluit.
