Visit the final exhibit of the season at the Steinbach Arts Council

The Steinbach Arts Council’s final Hall Gallery exhibit for 2024-2025 features two local artists, Naomi Gerrard and Earl Talatala. The exhibits, titled Multi-Grains of Energy and Raw and Simple, showcase their acrylic and mixed media works from May 20 to June 27 in the Steinbach Cultural Arts Centre’s Hall Gallery located at 304 Second St.

Naomi Gerrard, a former nurse, grew up on a farm in Pennsylvania and pursued a B.F.A. in Fine Arts at the University of Minnesota. She immigrated to Manitoba with her family and found art as a way to capture fleeting moments. Gerrard uses handmade papers, natural materials, and grains in her mixed media art.

Earl D. Talatala, a visual artist from the Philippines, specializes in acrylic and mixed media. Inspired by nature, his debut exhibit features animals in their ecosystems. Talatala’s vibrant art encourages viewers to reconnect with the natural world.

The Steinbach Arts Council would like to thank Good N Natural for sponsoring our Hall Gallery, and the Steinbach Community Foundation for supporting the gallery expansion.
