Looking Glass Theatre announces next season

Live theatre is returning to Steinbach for another year, thanks to Looking Glass Theatre.
The professional theatre company announced three shows that will run over the 2025/26 season with a mix of styles designed to appeal to a wide audience from co-artistic directors Marc A. Moir and Laura Kathleen Turner.
A Christmas Carol

The season will start in December with A Christmas Carol, rated family friendly, taking to the stage.
“The show will feature professional actors, live Christmas music, and a faithful, funny and heartfelt adaptation for the stage by Marc A. Moir (Padre X, The Pilgrim’s Progress),” the press release stated. “Audiences can expect to be delighted and charmed by this beautiful product.
The Bellefontaine Bridegroom
The second show of the year will be a brand-new play written by Scott N. Moir (Dietrich & Maria) titled The Bellefontaine Bridegroom.
This show is described as “a quirky comedy, with a dash of murder.”
“Audiences can expect to be fantastically entertained by four incredible actors during this amazing new play,” the press release stated.
This show is rated for adults and teens.
Maid Marian
Closing off the season will be the family friendly Maid Marian, described as a captivating and immersive one-woman show, performed by Laura Kathleen Turner.
“Audiences will be enchanted as Marian relives the adventures she shared with her beloved Robin Hood in the Sherwood Forest,” the release said.
This year season tickets will also go even further.
People have the option of purchasing regular season passes which offer three tickets to use throughout the season at a discounted rate or VIP passes with include front row seating and a 10 percent discount at the concession.
Both types of season tickets will include free admission to a list of $10 events that will be showing at the Steinbach Arts Council including Dreamtime Theatre: Live Storytelling with Scot N. Moir, Shakespeare Night, Broadway Night, and Original Music Night.
Passes can also be used at any location Looking Glass Theatre tours, including Steinbach, Morden and Winnipeg.
