Pistons begin off-season by nabbing Blues forward

Steinbach’s 2025 Manitoba Junior Hockey League off-season is beginning in a similar way to 2024, as the Pistons picked up a Winnipeg Blues forward to play for their team next season.
Last year, the team nabbed Brody Green and this year they made a quick move to snag Evan Gradt, a 2006-born forward from Winnipeg. The Pistons sent a player development fee back to the Blues.
Since getting auto-protected by the Blues in 2022 and joining the MJHL at the beginning of the 2023 season, Gradt has played more than 100 games in the league.

While his 33 points last season might not leap off the page, Gradt was the second-highest scorer on a sub-par Blues team that finished with just nine wins and the fewest goals scored by any team in the league.
