The summer season is in full swing! In addition to warm, sunny weather and longer days, this time of year brings about so many fun activities and events. Over the last few weeks, I have had the pleasure of attending and participating in a number of different local events.

I had the opportunity to participate in the parades for the Manitoba Stampede in Morris, Landmark Friendship Festival, and the Richer Rodeo. I was also able to attend the Springfield Country Fair. These are all wonderful events full of so many different fun and exciting attractions for the whole family. I am so glad to have gotten the chance to participate in and attend all of these events. I had a great time taking part in the festivities and interacting with constituents. It was so nice to see constituents come together to support local events and just enjoy our province. I would also like to extend a huge thank you to all of the amazing organizers, volunteers, and community members whose time and hard work made these events possible.

On July 23, I hosted a barbecue at my constituency office in Ste Anne. I wanted to host a more informal event where constituents could stop by and meet me, chat, and just have a nice time. Thank you to everyone who stopped by to chat and have lunch with me, and thank you to Ste Anne Lions Club for preparing the delicious lunch. It was a great day, and I look forward to hosting more events like this in the future.
