The RM of La Broquerie has fired its chief administration officer, with an interim appointment already in place.

Andrew Glasco, the former CAO was fired on Sept. 30, La Broquerie Reeve Ivan Normandeau told The Carillon.

Normandeau didn’t provide details on the firing, saying it was an internal human resource issue.

“These things are not done easily,” he said.

David Little, who served as La Broquerie’s recreation director for eight years, was appointed as the interim CAO the same day as the firing, he said.

A search for a new CAO hasn’t begun yet. Normandeau didn’t provide a timeline for when the rural municipality would fill the role.
