RCMP say the hydraulic press was stolen from a job site near Badger while the generator was stolen from Monominto Road in the RM of Springfield. Some of the firearms had been stolen after two residential break and enters in March 2011 in the RM of De Salaberry and in July 2022 in Pansy.

Two females, aged 69 and 35 from Zoda were arrested and released with a future court date.

But the key arrest was a man well known to the court system.

Terence Broesky, 42, from Zhoda faces 27 charges, including nine each for unauthorized possession of a firearm and careless storage of firearms.

He also faces two charges or possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000 and single charges of possession of a prohibited firearm and ammunition, possession of a firearm obtained by crime, possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000, tamper with a VIN, tampering with a serial number, failing to comply with a release order and failing to appear in court.

Broesky was in court in September 2021 where he was given a conditional sentence that included probation, an extended driving prohibition and house arrest for four charges out of over a dozen offences spanning nearly fourth months.

Those infractions included driving while prohibited that resulted in a truck abandoned in a ditch, an accident with a semi and a police chase in Winnipeg where he was ultimately found by the K9 unit.
Broesky was remanded into custody.
