Masked thieves break into Giant Tiger

Steinbach RCMP are looking for help in solving an Oct. 19 break and enter at Giant Tiger in Steinbach.

Police say they responded to an alarm at 4:25 a.m. Alarms had been triggered at the front exit door, front exit interior doors, front exit motion and other areas.

RCMP found a crowbar lying on the floor by the registers, which they say appeared to have been used to gain entry to the building.

“A small number of miscellaneous items were missing from the store,” they said in a Monday news release.

Surveillance video confirmed the suspects were three people wearing masks.
