Summer Arts Day Camps is back! Explore eight creative, themed weeks for children in age groups three to four, five to eight, and nine to 12. These camps are intentionally designed to nurture well-being and personal growth, offering a safe and supportive environment where experienced instructors lead campers through music, dance, theatre, visual arts and culinary arts.
The Steinbach Arts Council is dedicated to removing barriers for families and opening doors for children through the Steinbach Dodge Creative Kids Bursary Fund, Roxanne Klassen Memorial Fund, and the Vera Friesen Memorial Fund, which provides support specifically for Summer Arts Day Campers. Apply for a bursary for camps online or in person at the SAC Administrative Office.

Steinbach resin artist exhibits at the SAC Hall Gallery
The Steinbach Arts Council is proud to present “Shifting Realms: Ocean, Earth & Ether,” a solo exhibition by local resin artist Tanya Penner, running from May 22 to June 26. A self-taught talent from Steinbach, Penner’s geode-inspired designs and layered resin techniques capture nature’s duality—the calm of the shoreline and the raw energy of the earth. Many pieces incorporate sand and shells from her personal travels, offering a living history of the tide.
The community is invited to attend the opening ceremony on Friday, May 22, at 6 p.m. Guests will have the opportunity to meet Penner and witness the intricate details and crystal textures of her resin and mixed-media compositions in person.
As a long standing showcase of local and regional talent, the Steinbach Arts Council relies on community support to continue presenting meaningful arts experiences. Toonie admission is encouraged to support the Steinbach Arts Council and its artists.
