Cops seek electric cable thieves

St Pierre RCMP say electrical cable valued between $40,000 and $50,000 was stolen from a Holme Road business in Grunthal on July 25.
Police were called to the business on July 28, and found the original incident happened around 2 p.m. three days prior.
Two male suspects, one wearing an orange safety vest and the other wearing a blue safety vest left the scene in a red truck, police said.
This wasn’t the last crime they attempted that day.
RCMP said the same suspects were believed to be involved in an attempted theft later that same day when they breached a lock at a cellphone tower near Highway 216 and Highway 59.
In that instance an employee was on site and they fled the scene.
RCMP are looking for any details the public may have surrounding these incidents or information on the identity of the owner of the red truck.
