Steinbach RCMP are seeking to identify a man believed to be responsible for assaulting another man twice during the month of September.

On Sept. 17, police were called to a report of an assault outside of the Subway restaurant on Main Street. The suspect, who fled east down Main Street, was described as a male wearing a black sweater and dark pants.

The same victim was assaulted a week earlier on Sept. 9, near Lumber Avenue and First Street. Police suspect the two incidents are related.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Steinbach RCMP at (204) 326-4452 or CrimeStoppers at 1-800-222-8477 or www.manitobacrimestoppers.com or text "TIPMAN" plus a message to Crimes (274637).
